DOMYR.COM decides how the details you send through this site are used. You can reach us at any time through the contact page.
2What we collect
Only what you type into our forms. That is your name and e-mail address, and, depending on the form, your offer, your message, the name you ask about and the details of your project brief.
When a partner agency introduces a client, we receive the client's name or company and the names they like from that partner, and use them only to handle the introduction and the sale.
With each message we also keep the IP address it was sent from and the time, so we can spot abuse. A short-lived counter based on a scrambled version of your IP address limits how many messages one connection can send in an hour.
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as the IP address, the page requested and the browser type, for security and for a limited time.
3Why we use it
We use your details to answer your message, discuss an offer and, if we agree on a sale, complete it. This is necessary to take the steps you ask for before and during a contract.
We use the IP address and the spam checks to keep the forms safe, which is in our legitimate interest and yours. After a sale, we keep the records that accounting law requires.
We do not add you to mailing lists, send newsletters or use your details for advertising.
4Who else sees it
When we agree on a sale, we share your name and e-mail address with Escrow.com so it can open the transaction, and the registrars involved see what they need to move the domain. Escrow.com is based in the United States and handles your details under its own privacy policy.
Our hosting and e-mail providers store messages for us and act only on our instructions. We never sell or rent personal data.
5Cookies and visit statistics
This site sets no cookies and loads no advertising or third-party tracking scripts. Fonts and images are served from our own server.
We count visits with our own simple counter that runs on our server. For each page view it keeps the page address, the site you came from, your browser language, the type of device and browser, the country your connection comes from and how long the page stayed open. The country is worked out from your IP address at the moment of the visit, and the address itself is not stored. Instead of it the counter keeps a code that changes every day, so a visit cannot be linked to you or followed from one day to the next. These records are deleted after 13 months.
6How long we keep it
Messages and offers that do not lead to a sale are deleted within 24 months. Records of completed sales are kept for as long as accounting law requires. Messages our filters mark as spam are kept briefly for checking and then deleted.
7Your rights
You can ask to see the details we hold about you, to correct them, to delete them, to limit how we use them or to receive a copy in a common format. You can also object to any use based on our legitimate interest.
Send your request through the contact page and we will answer within one month. You also have the right to complain to the data protection authority in your country.
8Changes
If we change how we handle personal data, we update this page and the date above it.
